Paid leave for TSA agent who pawed Nurse Vinson

Schadenfreude
First of all, no, I don’t hope that this TSA agent contracts Ebola. Second, I don’t think she has a snowball’s chance in hell of contracting it.

That doesn’t mean I can’t indulge in a little schadenfreude over the fact that she might be worrying about it. The TSA inflicts abuse on the traveling public every single day in this country. So no, I don’t feel bad that the TSA is being made to suffer. We have an expression for that sort of thing: chickens coming home to roost. Also poetic justice.

Still, the question remains: what about all the other people this TSA employee touched after groping Amber Vinson? Did she change her gloves? We know that often said employees don’t. We have tons of evidence. Shouldn’t the TSA be chasing after them, too, out of “an abundance of caution”?

Yeah, right.
