TSA Admin John Pistole at National Press Club today

by Lisa Simeone on March 5, 2012

TSA Administrator John Pistole will speak today at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., at 1 o’clock Eastern. His address will be carried live by C-span.

The audience will likely be full of “security” contractors. If reporters are there, it remains to be seen whether any of them ask hard questions.

You can submit a question if you email it by 10 am to [email protected] and put “PISTOLE” in the Subject line. You may also tweet a question while he’s talking: @QNPCLunch .

Here’s the question I submitted:

Why does John Pistole describe as “one-offs” or “bad apples” the thousands of instances of theft, bullying, intimidation, and physical assault that TSA agents continue to perpetrate all over the country?  I have documented these accounts. They aren’t few and far between; they are legion:

If he doesn’t know about them, why doesn’t he know about them?  Why does he allow this to go on?
