TSA agent sentenced in child pornography case

Michael Scott Wilson, who worked for the TSA at Baltimore-Washington International Airport until he was arrested a year ago on child pornography charges, and about whom we wrote here, has just been sentenced.

The 42-year-old was sentenced to two years in prison and 15 years of supervised release when he gets out. Favorite line in the news story:

Wilson was suspended without pay by the TSA upon his arrest, prosecutors said, and he has not worked there since.

Gee, really? Can’t imagine why. They have no problem employing Thomas Harkin. Or any of the other criminals listed here or here.

What is it with all of this paedophilia criminality? There’re many and when we read about one paedophile being arrested, charged and convicted for this offence being associated with groups of 50 or more paedophiles, then it’s very mindboggling. I knew there were some, but with many reports about such acts over the past decade and now reading about groups of paedophiles numbering 50 and more, then it’s shocking.

The facts indicate that TSA doesn’t have a problem employing pedophiles, sexual predators, thieves and other criminals, they have a problem with them getting caught.
